Miao Yu, Doctor of Agriculture, is an excellent PhD introduced by Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Dr. Yu is the director of Laboratory of Ecological Husbandry and Environmental Control, and the Council Member of the tenth Council of the Livestock Ecology Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Yu’s primary research interest is ecological husbandry of mono-gastric animal and unconventional feed resources development.
Currently, Dr. Yu has headed 9 projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial Foundation of Guangdong, and published more than 40 papers. Dr. Yu published 14 SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author, with the highest impact factor of 7.561, and won the second prize of Science and Technology of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences (ranking 3). Dr. Yu got 4 authorized invention patents, 2 authorized international patents, 13 authorized utility model patents and 7 authorized software Copyrights. Dr. Yu is the reviewer for journals such as Frontiers in Microbiology, Journal of Applied Microbiology, The Journal of Poultry Sciences, Mediators of Inflammation, and China Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine.
