Tong Xiong, Doctor of animal genetics, assistant researcher, mainly engaged in the protection of genetic resources of local livestock breeds and the development and application of gene markers. In the past three years, he has presided over 2 provincial and municipal projects and participated in 5 provincial and Guangzhou level science and technology projects. Won the second prize of Guangdong Agricultural Technology Promotion Award; He applied for 1 invention patent and obtained 4 utility model patents and 2 software Copyrights. In the past three years, he has published 6 papers as the first author (or co-first author) on the development of livestock germplasm resources and the exploitation of economic performance. The papers have been published in Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology and Chinese Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, which are representative professional journals at home and abroad.
