Huijie Lu
Dr. Lu received her BSc and DSc from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2009 and 2014 respectively. After obtaining her DSc degree, she had worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Faculty of Health Science in University of Macau (2014-2017). Dr. Lu’s primary research interest is modern ecological husbandry and environmental control. Her current research interests include: (1) the major intracellular redox buffering or defense networks that help the cells adapt to and survive stress conditions caused by biochemical, physiological and pathological stimuli; (2) cross talk between oxidative stress and inflammation in animal health and disease; (3) developing novel molecular-targeted agents and organ-specific biologic drugs. Dr. Lu is principal investigator of several grants and support since 2018, including, Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation (2020A1515010591), Science and Technology Program of Guangzhou (202102020549), and the talents training programs of GDAAS (R2017YJ-YB3007, R2018QD-071). In the past few years, Dr. Lu published over 20 articles, and her papers have appeared in several professional authoritative journals, such as Comprehensive Reviews in Food Science and Food Safety, Endocrinology, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology. In 2020, Dr. Lu was awarded “Record of Merit” and “Advanced worker” of GDAAS.
