Doctor Zhuo-hao Ruan, Assistant Researcher, graduated from South China Agricultural University in 2022. He is mainly engaged in the research of genetics and breeding of aquatic organism, genetic analysis of traits and ecological aquaculture. He is in charge of one project from the Guangdong Province key laboratory, and participated in several projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangdong Science and Technology Special Fund, and National Key Research and Development Program. In recent years, he has published 12 papers (10 SCI papers) in Aquaculture, Frontiers in Genetics, Genes, Virus, Virus Research, Fish Shellfish Immunology and Chinese core journals, including 5 first-author/corresponding author papers (4 SCI papers). He has applied for 4 patents related to breeding markers for growth and disease resistance, and participated in writing and publishing one book.
