Jie Ma

Jie Ma, Master, associate research fellow, is mainly engaged in the genetic breeding of poultry, and focused on the specialized lines selection and establishing new strains of yellow-feathered chickens, in which he has participated in establishing 3 yellow-feathered strains (one has been approved by the National Livestock and Poultry Variety Approval Committee of China). Ma has presided over and participate in over 10 projects, such as the National 973 Sub-project and the National Sci-tech Support Plan Sub-project, published 9 papers (4 SCI ones), and been authorized 4 national invention patents. Additionally, he has been prized once with the first prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Award, and once with the first prize of Guangdong Agricultural Technology Promotion Award.
